Overview

Source 2016, eWater's 4th Source workshop, will be held in Canberra on 24–25 August. The workshop will focus on the implementation of Source as Australia’s National Hydrological Modelling Platform for Rivers and Urban Systems across Australia, and internationally.

The first day of the workshop will be dedicated to presentations by government water management agencies and their progress towards implementation of Source across Australia. The second day will be a combination of sessions, with technology updates by the eWater Development Team, and papers from industry and academics showcasing domestic and international applications of Source.

Workshop Agenda

Workshop Dinner

A workshop dinner will be held on Day 1 from 7:00pm on Wednesday 24 August, at the Hyatt. The dinner costs $80 + GST for regular attendees (complimentary option for NHMP members).

How to register for the dinner as a regular delegate:

1. Select REGISTER.

2. Enter number of tickets next to 'Source 2016 (2 days)' or 'Source 2016 Student (2 days)'.

3. Click CHECKOUT.

4. Under Additional Items select Workshop Dinner, enter a quantity, and click Add to Order.

5. Fill out all required details and select Pay by invoice under Payment, or click Pay Now at the bottom to pay by credit card.

How to register for the dinner as NHMP members:

1. Select REGISTER.

2. Click Enter Promotional Code (enter the code provided to your organisation) and click Apply Code.

3. Enter number of tickets next to the 'NHMP Registration + Dinner' ticket option ($80).

4. Click CHECKOUT.

5. Fill out all required details and select Pay by invoice under Payment, or click Pay Now at the bottom to pay by credit card. Do not add the Workshop Dinner under Additional Items (this option is for regular delegates only).

Room details:

• Park Hyatt King $230.00 per room per night

• Extended stays: The Hyatt can extend the above rate to guests wishing to stay 2 days before or 2 days after the main event dates.

Accommodation booking procedure:

• Quote block code EWAT in order to obtain the special accommodation rate.

• Guests are required to confirm their booking with a valid credit card, they will also be asked to provide this credit card upon check-in to guarantee any incidentals during their stay.

• Payment for accommodation is not required at the time of booking. Guests may choose their payment method upon check-in.

• A confirmation email will be sent by Reservations to the guest once the booking has been confirmed. They will also receive a reservation reminder email 7 days prior to check-in.

• Any reservations not cancelled 2pm, 14 days prior to arrival will incur a 100% cancellation charge.

Transport & Parking

Valet parking is available at Hyatt for $25 per car per day. Alternatively, there are over 200 off-street car spaces surrounding Hyatt Hotel Canberra which are subject to payment – the daily fee is approx. $11 per day, Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5:30pm. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.

From Canberra Airport – 9 kilometres, 10 minutes by car

• Exit the terminal and turn right for the taxi rank and Uber waiting lounge.

Approaching Canberra from the south:

• Hyatt Hotel Canberra is located just past Parliament House, on the left-hand side of Commonwealth Avenue as you drive towards Commonwealth Avenue Bridge

Approaching Canberra from the north:

• When entering Canberra from the north side of the city, remain on Northbourne Avenue until you cross the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge

• Hyatt Hotel Canberra is on the right-hand side, just after the bridge

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. Log in to your Eventbrite profile, select the Source 2016 ticket, and click Edit.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes. Please bring your ticket on the day so that it can be scanned for check-in.
